Primary Contact Sync
During the initial integration sync, if you have an individual contact on the Customer/Prospect, we will sync that over as the Primary Contact in Wunderite.
From the Customer/Prospect, the fields we bring over to create the Primary Contact include:
First Name*
Middle Name
Last Name*
Business Phone
Email (syncs to Email - Other in Wunderite)
*Note: The First Name and Last Name values are required In order to create a Primary Contact in Wunderite.
Primary Contact behavior
Primary Contact creation only happens the first time a Customer/Prospect syncs to Wunderite. If the required contact information is missing during that first sync, updating the Customer/Prospect later will not automatically create a Primary Contact.
Primary Contacts are only created for Commercial Risk Profiles. Personal Risk Profiles do not currently support Contacts.
After the Primary Contact is created in Wunderite, the integration creates or links a corresponding Contact record in AMS360. If AMS360 already has a matching Contact record, the integration may link to the existing record instead of creating a duplicate.
The linked AMS360 Contact record and Wunderite Contact are used for bi-directional contact updates.
The integration does not update the individual contact information stored directly on the AMS360 Customer/Prospect. Updates are made only on the corresponding Contact record in AMS360.
This new Contact record in AMS360 will be linked together with the Wunderite Contact for the purpose of bi-directional data updates.
The integration will not make updates to the individual contact information on the AMS360 Customer/Prospect, only on the corresponding Contact record in AMS360.
Individual Contact Records Sync
In addition to the Primary Contact Sync noted above, the integration will also sync over any individual Contacts related to the Customer/Prospect in AMS360.
These are found in the Contacts section of AMS360 when editing a Customer in AMS360.
Individual Contact records in AMS360 link directly to Contacts in Wunderite. Any changes made on the integrated fields updated if changes are made in AMS360 or Wunderite.
If a new Individual Contact is created in AMS360, the record will be automatically created in Wunderite as a Contact

Title
Our general article covers the full details on data that syncs bidirectionally between AMS360 and Wunderite.
What information must I have in an AMS360 Contact to ensure it syncs to the correct Risk Profile in Wunderite?
Wunderite requires both a First Name and Last Name.
The AMS360 contact name is automatically parsed for you.
If only a single word is entered in AMS360 (for example, “Bob”), Wunderite will use it for both fields, appearing as “Bob Bob.”
The Contact must belong to a Customer/Prospect that satisfies the integration data sync requirements.
What Wunderite Contact email field should I use?
We recommend using Email - Other as the primary email field for any contact synced with AMS360. Make sure you have the Email - Other field visible in Wunderite Commercial Contacts by using the Columns dropdown visibility toggle. Here's why:
AMS360 supports only one email field.
Wunderite supports three: Email - Work, Email - Personal, and Email - Other.
Emails from AMS360 sync to Email - Other in Wunderite.
What happens during sync
If a contact in Wunderite has multiple emails (Work, Personal, and Other), AMS360 will only keep the most recently updated Wunderite email. The next time AMS360 syncs to Wunderite:
Email - Work and Email - Personal will be dropped in Wunderite.
Email - Other will update with the email address that was most recently changed in Wunderite.
What happens if I delete a Contact in Wunderite?
Deleting a Contact in Wunderite does not delete the corresponding Contact record in AMS360. The Contact record remains in AMS360 and must be managed there if it should be removed. Future synchronization will not automatically delete Contact records from AMS360.
