Why are updates in AMS360 not syncing to Wunderite?

AMS360 Notification Service (ONS)

Wunderite uses AMS360's Notification Service (ONS) to be notified when there are changes in AMS360 that need to be synced to Wunderite. Sometimes this service has errors on the AMS360 side that require manual intervention by your AMS360 Administrator.

If your AMS360 Customer and/or Prospect records meet the required criteria for the data sync from AMS360 to Wunderite, but you are still not seeing those updates come over, there are three steps you can take in AMS360 to get data flowing again:


How to determine if you have errors and correct them

AMS360's notification service errors can occur without a clear cause, disrupting its connection with Wunderite or other applications. If data isn't flowing to Wunderite, follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

  1. Login as an AMS360 Administrator

  2. AMS360 may notify you on their website, with an error that reads something like this:

  3. Otherwise, navigate to Administration in the top navigation

  4. Click Utilities on the left menu

  5. Click Undelivered Notification Messages

  6. If you see any records with the Notification Recipient listed as Wunderite,

    1. Optional: click "view details", copy and paste the error message, and email to [email protected] for our records so we can provide to Vertafore and better diagnose these issues in the future.

    2. Required: click on the Delete checkbox and then click on the Save icon.

  7. There may be multiple errors that you need to clear out, so after clearing out any messages, we recommend reopening the Undelivered Notification Messages window and checking to make sure no other errors have appeared.

  8. If you see additional errors, repeat the steps above.

Are Updates Still Not Syncing?

Check the Notification Service Delivery Status

If you've Deleted the visible errors, but still do not see any updates syncing to Wunderite, we recommend checking the Notification Service Delivery Status.

To complete this configuration change , you'll need administrative access to your AMS360 instance.

  1. Login to AMS360 as an Administrator

  2. In the top navigation, click Administration

  3. On the left menu under General, click Notification Service Setup

  4. Locate your Wunderite ONS client in the list and click the Edit in the top yellow bar.

  5. Under Recipient Information blue bar, click Edit

  6. If the Delivery Status is set as Suspended or Off, click on the Delivery Status dropdown and select On

  7. Click Update in the Recipient Information yellow bar and click the Save & Close icon to save your changes.


Reset the Notification Service

You may also want to try disabling and re-enabling the Notification Service client. This essentially is a reset of the service.

To make these updates, you'll need administrative access to your AMS360 instance

To Disable:

  1. Login to AMS360 as an Administrator

  2. In the top navigation, click Administration

  3. On the left menu under General, click Notification Service Setup

  4. Select the Wunderite Notification Client and click Edit in the yellow bar.

  5. Click Edit in the Notification Recipient yellow bar

  6. Set the Delivery Status dropdown setting to Off

  7. In the Recipient Information yellow bar, click Update

  8. In the Notification Service Clients yellow bar click Update again

  9. Click Save & Close

To Re-enable:

  1. Select the Wunderite Notification Client and click Edit in the yellow bar.

  2. Click Edit in the Notification Recipient yellow bar

  3. Set the Delivery Status dropdown setting to On

  4. In the Recipient Information yellow bar, click Update

  5. In the Notification Service Clients yellow bar click Update again

  6. Click Save & Close

If after performing these steps, you continue to see issues, we recommend contacting Vertafore support or your account manager. There may be additional issues that only Vertafore would be able to assist with.
