2-Factor Authentication (2FA) enhances account security by requiring a second form of verification in addition to your primary login method. Follow the steps below to enable 2FA in your account.
Step 1: Accept Your Email Invitation
When you join Wunderite, you’ll receive an email invitation to set up your account. Click the link in the invitation to begin the setup process.
Note: If you have not received the email, check your spam/junk folder or contact your account administrator for assistance.
Step 2: Set Up Your Password (Optional)
While creating a password is optional, we highly recommend it for added security.
If you choose not to set a password, your primary authentication method will be a secure link sent to your registered email inbox. You can still enable 2FA regardless of whether a password is set.
Step 3: Navigate to Account Settings
Click on your profile icon or username in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
Select
Account
from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Enable 2-Factor Authentication
Scroll down to the Security section in the Settings page.
Click on the
Enable 2-Factor Authentication
button.
Step 5: Scan the QR Code
A QR code will appear on your screen. Open your preferred authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator).
Use the app to scan the QR code.
Alternatively, you can manually enter the provided key into the app if you are unable to scan the QR code.
Tip: Ensure that the time on your device is synced correctly to avoid issues with the generated codes.
Step 6: Verify the 2FA Code
Once the QR code is scanned, your authenticator app will generate a 6-digit code.
Enter the 6-digit code into the field provided below the QR code on the setup page.
Click
Enable
to complete the setup process.
Next Steps
Once 2FA is enabled, you will be prompted to enter a code from your authenticator app each time you log in.
