The intended audience for this article is Agents and Customers.
The Done status helps track progress when multiple people are working on the same form. Customers and agents can mark themselves Done to indicate they finished their portion of the work, while the Complete action is used by the agent to finalize the form.
How done status works
Forms in Wunderite have two different completion signals:
Done – indicates that a specific collaborator has finished their assigned work.
Mark Form Complete – locks and finalizes the form for everyone. Only available for agents.
Multiple collaborators can mark themselves Done on the same form. The form remains editable until the agent marks the form complete.
Customer done status
Customers use I’m Done to indicate they finished answering the questions assigned to them. Typical workflow:
An agent assigns questions to one or more customers.
Customers receive an email notification and open the form.
Each customer answers the questions assigned to them.
When finished, the customer clicks I’m Done.
When a customer marks a form Done:
The agent receives a notification.
The form updates to show that the customer has finished their assigned work.
Other collaborators can still continue editing or answering questions.
If multiple customers are working on the form, each person’s Done status is tracked separately.
Agent done status
Agents can also mark themselves Done when they have finished their portion of the work on a form. Key points:
The Done action is available when the form is assigned to the agent.
Marking Done signals to collaborators that the agent has finished reviewing or completing their assigned questions.
The form remains editable for other collaborators after marking Done.
Agents must select the Edit Answers button after marking themselves done if updates are needed.
When done is available
The Done action is available when:
The form is assigned to the collaborator (agent or customer).
If a form is not assigned to the agent, the Done action is disabled. The agent can:
Assign the form to themselves, or
Skip the done step and mark the form complete.
Marking a form complete
The Mark Form Complete action finalizes the form. When an agent marks a form complete:
The form is locked and no longer editable.
Customers can't make additional changes.
The finalized form is generated.
If your agency has integrations (such as AMS 360 or ImageRight), the integration is triggered at this step.
Wunderite may warn the agent if they try to mark the form complete while collaborators are not marked Done.
Resetting done status
If new questions are assigned to a collaborator who previously marked the form Done, their status will reset to Not Done. This ensures the form accurately reflects who still has work remaining.
Activity log tracking
All completion actions are recorded in the activity log, including:
When a collaborator marks themselves Done
When the agent marks the form Complete
When a form is marked Incomplete and reopened for editing
This provides a full record of who completed work on the form and when.
