The intended audience for this article is Agents.

Wunderite’s integration with AMS360 provides agencies the option to segment their accounts and users in Wunderite by either the Division, Branch, Department, or Group Business Unit.

Segmenting Accounts

During Wunderite’s AMS360 integration setup, agencies choose which Business Unit level they would like their Wunderite segmentation to correlate with.

For example, if an agency chooses the Branch Business Unit, the integration will automatically:

  1. Synchronize customers and prospects to Wunderite as risk profiles

  2. Create Branches associated with any of those customers and prospects as Segments in Wunderite

  3. Automatically associate the risk profiles created in Wunderite to the correct Branch Segment

Example of an agency’s Divisions created as multiple Segments in Wunderite:

It’s important to remember that segmentation will occur at one level in Wunderite. While agencies may have multiple Divisions, Branches, Departments, and Groups in AMS360, in Wunderite, they will pick one of those levels and that is how the accounts will be segmented for security and viewing/editing in Wunderite.

Segmenting Users

The integration does not automatically synchronize AMS360 employees with Wunderite users. An agency’s Wunderite user must be manually created and associated with their respective Segments. Agent users can be configured to access multiple Segments in Wunderite, and these access controls are provisioned by the Wunderite agent administrator(s).

Example case:

  • Coastal Insurance Agency chooses the Division Business Unit and completes the integration sync.

  • Agent user Andy Slater needs access to the Coastal Insurance East and Coastal Insurance West Divisions.

  • Andy’s Wunderite user account can be configured by their administrator to access both of these Segments.

Example of a Wunderite user being associated with multiple Segments in Wunderite:

Customized Branding

Since Wunderite is a customer and prospect facing tool, we’ve made it easy for agencies to customize the display name and logo of their Wunderite Segments, tailoring the branding for your insured users.

The Segment display name and logo will appear in the Wunderite application and on email notifications based on the specific risk profile an insured is collaborating on.

Display Name

While we pull in the Business Unit name by default, the display name for each Segment can be changed at any time.

For example, if Coastal Insurance Agency chooses the Division Business Unit, and one of the Divisions in AMS360 is named South Division, the agency can change the Segment display name to Coastal Insurance South, or any other preferred name.

Logos

Custom logos are optional, and all Wunderite Segments without a custom logo will revert to the agency's team logo. If your agency would like to associate a different logo with some or all of your Wunderite Segments, these can be updated any time by editing a Segment in Wunderite.

Again, the Segment display name and logo will appear in the Wunderite application and on email notifications based on the specific risk profile an insured is collaborating on.
