The intended audience for this article is Agents.

A Wunderite Production environment is our live system where actual customer interactions occur

  • Setup with all the necessary configurations for real-world operations

  • Includes live data processing and customer communication

A Wunderite Sandbox environment is designed for testing integrations and features before they go live

  • Sandbox uses separate logins and user accounts from production

  • Agencies should not interact with customers using sandbox

    • Do not send forms or invite customers to create accounts

    • Agencies can test collaborative features (sending forms, emails etc) with test email addresses (or aliases) that the agency controls

  • Sandbox supports sending live outgoing email for testing purposes

    • eg test the collaborative features before your organization sets up a new production environment

  • All data on sandbox will be deleted (wiped)

    • Customer data may temporarily live in Sandbox to test integration imports

  • Data is never migrated from Sandbox to Production

  • Changes to data in Sandbox will not synchronize back to integrated products

    • In cases where Wunderite imports production data from AMS360-Production into Wunderite-Sandbox, we recommend to not write data back to AMS360

    • If you make a change to an account in Sandbox, that change will not synchronize back to other products

  • Sandbox may be used for training agency power users or trainers, including:

    • Test key Wunderite features in throwaway environment

    • Verify data (coming from AMS360)

    • Get key power users / trainers up to speed on Wunderite ahead of a larger organization

  • Agency should have no expectation of continuity of data between sandbox and production
