There's no silver bullet when it comes to ensuring email deliverability. Each email provider and client uses its own rules for determining which emails are legitimate and which are spam. If Wunderite emails are going to your spam or junk folder, you can whitelist our domain to ensure that you receive app notifications.

Gmail

In the search box at the top of your inbox, select the filters icon.

In the From field, enter @wunderite.com, then select Create filter.

On the next screen, select the option for Never Send it to Spam, then Create filter.

Microsoft Outlook

Go to your Junk or Spam folder and select an email from Wunderite. From here, there are three ways to navigate to junk email settings:

  1. Right click the email, select Junk, then Never Block Sender's Domain.

  2. If you use the expanded Outlook ribbon, select the Junk option at the top of your window, then select Never Block Sender's Domain.

  3. Alternatively, if you use the collapsed Outlook ribbon, select the ellipsis […] button at the top right of your window, select Junk, then select Never Block Sender's Domain.

Mimecast

Review their documentation for configuring spam definitions.

Steps Wunderite takes to ensure you receive app notifications

We proactively monitor our email deliverability to ensure app notifications get sent to your inbox instead of getting caught up in a spam filter. Here are the steps we take:

  1. Records to authenticate we're real
We properly sign our emails with DMARC, SPF, DKIM, A record, and MX records, which are common ways to digitally sign email to prove our authenticity to email providers. i.e. We are who we say we are; we're not trying to pretend to be someone we're not.

  2. Records to authenticate we're real
We set appropriate MX records and properly sign our emails with DKIM: common ways to digitally sign emails and prove authenticity to email providers. Additionally, we set SPF records to prevent email spoofing and DMARC to enforce the protections. i.e. We are who we say we are; we're not trying to pretend to be someone we're not.

  3. We use separate domains for app notifications and marketing emails
We respect subscription preferences with marketing emails, but because marketing emails inherently serve a different function than app notifications and go to a different set of recipients, we use a separate domain for sending marketing messages. This ensures that our marketing emails are treated and scored separately from app notifications.

  4. Email reputation and blacklist audits
Using third-party apps for verification, we regularly review our email reputation and perform audits of blacklists to ensure that we're not getting erroneously flagged as bad actors.
