Prerequisites:
Your user account on Wunderite must be an Agent Administrator in order to access your API key.
In order to find your API key, this feature must first be toggled on by your Wunderite Customer Success Manager. If the feature hasn't already been turned on, contact [email protected].
Once your Customer Success Manager has turned on the API Key feature for your agency, navigate to your user account settings by clicking your user name in the top right of Wunderite, then selecting Account.
From your account page, select the Settings tab.
From the Settings tab, select Generate API Key.
Note: If you don't see this option it means that either your account is not an Agent Administrator or your Customer Success Manager hasn't turned on the API Key feature for your agency. Contact [email protected] for additional assistance.
A popup modal will display your API key. Select either of the Copy or Copy Key buttons to copy the API key to your clipboard.
Warning: Be prepared to paste this into a notepad or directly into the app you're integrating with. Once you close the popup, you will not be able to view or copy the API key again.
After you copy the API key and close the popup modal, a time stamp will show when an API key was most recently generated.
If you need to generate a new API key, you can select the Regenerate API Key button. But be warned, regenerating the API key will invalidate your previous API key. Any app integrations that use the key will stop working.
Once you select Regenerate API Key, a warning modal displays, letting you know that regenerating an API key will break existing integrations that use your current API key. If you're sure you want to regenerate a key, select Yes, Regenerate Key.
