Step 3: Configure Directory Sync with Your Identity Provider

Connect your identity provider to Wunderite Directory Sync through WorkOS and prepare for role mapping

The intended audience for this article is Technical Agent Admins with SSO.

To complete this setup step, you'll need administrative access to your identity provider (IdP).

The purpose of this step is to set up Directory Sync between Wunderite and your IdP so that your IdP becomes the source of truth for user authentication and permissions in Wunderite.

  1. Return to Wunderite and ensure you're logged in as an Administrator.

  2. In the side navigation, click Team.

  3. In the menu that appears, click Team Security.

  4. Under Single Sign-on (SSO), click Manage Directory Sync in WorkOS.

  5. Select your identity provider when prompted.

  6. Follow the instructions provided by WorkOS.

  7. Once this part of the setup is complete, notify your Wunderite contact so they can complete the role mappings.

Directory Sync Configuration Support for Common Identity Providers

Below are additional setup and troubleshooting notes for IdPs commonly used by Wunderite customers.

Auth0

Auth0 does not support SCIM. To configure Directory Sync with Auth0, use the WorkOS SFTP integration: SFTP – Integrations – WorkOS Docs.

Entra ID

Some Directory Sync functionality is limited on the free tier of Entra. For more information about setting up Directory Sync with Entra, see:
