AMS360 Sync Tools: Contact, Sync Logs, Lookup, Resync

Manage AMS360 integration credentials, sync activity, and troubleshooting workflows

Written by Philip MacDonald

The intended audience for this article is Technical Agent Admins with an AMS360 integration.

AMS360 Sync Tools help agency administrators troubleshoot AMS360 integration issues, validate sync behavior, and manage integration credentials. The tool provides visibility into:

  • Integration credential health

  • Sync activity and history

  • Customer lookup validation

  • Manual resync operations

  • Sync event logs

  • Technical contact configuration

The primary purpose of the tool is operational troubleshooting and sync verification.

Access

Agents admins can access AMS360 Sync Tools by navigating to the Team page in Wunderite, then selecting AMS360 Sync Tools in the sidebar. The button will generate a signed link that expires after 15 minutes.

Key limitations

Resync throttling

Manual resyncs are limited to once every 2 hours.

Historical resync limits

Users can manually resync up to the last 30 days. Requests beyond 30 days require assistance from the Wunderite support team.

Tool sections

Overview page

The Overview page displays:

  • Current integration credentials

  • Credential health status

  • Last credential validation check

  • Integration configuration details

Credential checks normally run daily around 6:00 AM Eastern.

Status indicators

Status

Meaning

Green / Healthy

Credentials validated successfully

Error state

Credential or configuration issue detected

Waiting check

Expected in non-production/demo environments

If credential validation fails:

  • The UI displays an error message

  • The agency technical contact receives an email notification automatically

Managing credentials

Admins can update or regenerate credentials for supported integrations, including:

  • EMS

  • ONS

  • WSAPI

Credential management is a two-step validation process. AMS360 Sync Tools can only save valid credentials. If the required AMS360-side setup has not been completed, credential updates will fail and display an error.

This prevents invalid credentials from being saved and reduces the risk of breaking an existing integration configuration.

The page can also be used to verify current integration configuration values against the agency setup.

Common use cases

  • Confirming incorrect credentials

  • Regenerating expired credentials

  • Validating ONS setup

  • Troubleshooting integration connectivity

Contact info tab

The Contact Info tab manages the agency technical contact. This contact receives:

  • Nightly credential health emails

  • Integration failure notifications

This section also provides access to manual resync actions.

Resync tab

The Resync tab allows admins to manually request sync operations for a selected time period.

What happens during a resync

After a resync request is submitted:

  • The system queues the sync

  • Progress appears in the UI

  • Sync counts and timestamps are logged

  • Completion status updates automatically

Important notes

  • Resyncs are rate limited to once every 2 hours

  • Resyncs over 30 days require support assistance

  • Large historical syncs should be escalated

Lookup tab

Purpose

The Lookup tab validates whether AMS360 customer records are accessible through:

  • WSAPI

  • EMS APIs

This helps identify configuration problems between AMS360 and Wunderite.

How lookup works

Enter:

  • AMS360 customer UUID

The system attempts to validate access through the configured integrations.

Successful lookup

A successful lookup confirms:

  • Customer exists

  • APIs are reachable

  • Credentials are functioning correctly

Failed lookup

Failures may indicate:

  • Invalid UUID

  • Incorrect WSAPI configuration

  • Incorrect EMS configuration

  • Credential issues

  • Integration access problems

Different API systems may fail independently. For example:

  • WSAPI succeeds while EMS fails

  • EMS succeeds while WSAPI fails

This usually indicates partial configuration problems.

Sync logs

Purpose

Sync Logs provide a complete event history for synchronization activity between AMS360 and Wunderite.

Searching logs

Logs can be searched using either:

  • AMS360 customer UUID

  • Wunderite risk profile ID

The system automatically associates related records.

Reading sync events

Logs should generally be read from bottom to top to understand event order correctly. Typical events include:

  • AMS360 webhook received

  • Wunderite update triggered

  • Sync initiated

  • Verification completed

  • Duplicate/no-op updates ignored

Verification indicators

Verified sync events display a checkmark indicator. Missing verification may indicate:

  • Incorrect ONS credentials

  • Integration verification failures

  • Configuration mismatches

Common troubleshooting scenarios

Missing customer data

Use Sync Logs to determine:

  • Whether the sync event occurred

  • Whether the update propagated successfully

  • Whether downstream systems rejected or ignored updates

Customer not found in Wunderite

If a customer exists but cannot be located manually, logs may provide a direct link into the corresponding Wunderite record.

Duplicate sync events

AMS360 may respond back after Wunderite updates data.

In many cases:

  • Wunderite sends an update to AMS360

  • AMS360 sends a confirmation webhook back

  • Wunderite detects no net change

  • The event is ignored intentionally

This is expected behavior.

Recommended troubleshooting workflow

  1. Confirm credential health on the Overview page

  2. Verify agency technical contact information

  3. Use Lookup to validate customer accessibility

  4. Review Sync Logs for event history

  5. Confirm verification checkmarks

  6. Run a manual resync if needed

  7. Escalate historical sync requests over 30 days
