Lock or unlock a team member's account

How an agency Team Admin can lock or unlock other agency members

The intended audience for this article is Agents.

Agency Team Admins can lock or unlock agency team accounts directly from the Team Members page. This allows admins to manage access without contacting Customer Success. For example, if a team member’s account is locked after too many failed login attempts, a Team Admin can unlock it.

Note: Lock/unlock accounts isn't available for customer collaborators (insureds) from the Wunderite. If you need to lock/unlock a customer collaborator, contact [email protected] to submit a SOC2 data modification request.

Before you begin

  • You need to be an agency Team Admin

  • You need to have two-factor authentication (2FA) enabled to lock or unlock team members.

Lock or unlock a team member

  1. Navigate to Team > Team Members.

  2. Find the agency user you want to manage.

  3. Select Actions.

  4. Choose Lock Member or Unlock Member.

Locked members display a lock icon on their avatar in the Team Members list.

If you lock a member, they immediately lose access to their agency account. If you unlock a member, they can sign back in.

What this does

  • Applies only to agency users.

  • Does not affect insureds.

  • Allows Agency Team Admins to manage access instantly.

  • Requires 2FA on the admin account for added security.
