Overview

If your agency uses the AMS360 or Applied Epic integration, your data automatically syncs between your AMS and Wunderite. While Zapier offers powerful automation, it’s important to use it correctly alongside these integrations to avoid data conflicts, sync loops, or duplicate records.

AMS as the Source of Truth

In an integrated environment, AMS360 or Applied Epic acts as the system of record. Core data, such as accounts, contacts, and related details, flows from your AMS into Wunderite. Wunderite should reflect what exists in your AMS, not override it.

Important: Wunderite doesn't recommend using Zapier to create, update, or delete data in Wunderite if you have an active AMS integration.

Using Zapier to push data into Wunderite can cause the following issues:

  • Data conflicts: Changes made via Zapier may be overwritten during the next AMS sync.

  • Record duplication: Zapier may create duplicate records if it cannot match the unique identifiers used by AMS360 or Applied Epic.

  • Synchronization errors: Automated changes can break the technical link between a Wunderite Risk Profile and its corresponding AMS record.

Outbound Data Usage (GET)

There are no restrictions on using Wunderite as a data source.

Using Wunderite as the trigger or source in a Zapier workflow is a safe and effective way to automate agency tasks. Because data flows outward from Wunderite, it does not interfere with your AMS integration.

Supported workflow patterns

Status

Example

Wunderite → Gmail

Approved

Send schedules or documents from Wunderite to third parties.

Recommendations

  • Maintain one-way data flow
Make primary data changes, such as address updates, new drivers, or entity edits, in your AMS. Let the native integration sync those changes into Wunderite.

  • Focus on downstream automation
Use Zapier for actions that occur after data is in Wunderite, such as notifications, outbound emails, or marketing updates.
