The intended audience for this article is Agents.
When an account is moved between business units in AMS360, that change can affect how the account appears and behaves in Wunderite.
Moving an Account Into a Synced Segment
When an account is moved in AMS360 from a non-synced business unit into one that is synced with Wunderite:
The account appears in Wunderite automatically.
The Segment updates to match the new AMS360 business unit.
Collaborators may need to be re-assigned if the account is new to that Segment.
What to expect
The account becomes available in Wunderite and can be worked normally.
Moving an Account Outside of Synced Segments
When an account is moved in AMS360 to a business unit that is not synced with Wunderite:
The account will still be editable in Wunderite, however...
Attempts to access or update the account may result in errors.
Any changes made in Wunderite while the account is outside of sync will not be retained.
Once the account is moved back into a synced business unit, Wunderite reconnects the account and refreshes data from AMS360.
What to expect
AMS360 remains the source of truth. Data edited while out of sync may be overwritten.
Moving an Account Between Two Synced Segments
When an account is moved between two AMS360 business units that are both synced with Wunderite:
The account remains connected in Wunderite.
The Segment updates to the new business unit.
Collaborator access may change based on the new Segment.
What to expect
The account stays usable, but access permissions may update automatically.
Moving Accounts With Active Forms or Signatures
If an account is moved while work is in progress, such as:
Forms with assigned questions
Pending or completed signatures
Wunderite will:
Preserve completed signatures and signed documents.
Update collaborator access to match the new Segment.
Remove collaborators who no longer have access to the business unit.
When collaborators are removed:
Incomplete signature files are updated to
Draft.Removed collaborators are removed from question assignments.
What to expect
Completed work remains valid, but who can access or continue work may change.
Best Practices
To avoid disruption when moving accounts in AMS360:
Confirm the destination business unit is synced with Wunderite.
Avoid moving accounts during active form or signature workflows when possible.
Allow time for the sync to complete before making edits in Wunderite.
Review collaborator access after account moves.
