The intended audience for this article is Agents and Insureds/End Customers.

Wunderite forms support live (realtime) collaboration, allowing multiple users to view and complete the same form together. You can see where others are working and avoid conflicts while editing.

Overview

  1. See active collaborators

When others are viewing the same form, their avatars appear in the top-right corner of the navigation bar (next to the PDF view and ellipsis buttons).

  2. Follow a collaborator’s view

Select an avatar to “follow” that collaborator. As they scroll through the form, your view scrolls automatically to match theirs.

  3. Stop following

Click anywhere on the page to stop following a collaborator’s view.

  4. One browser window at a time
As a best practice, open only one browser tab or window per form. Having the same form open in multiple sessions can cause conflicts with realtime updates and editing.

  5. UI-only update
As of 2025, Wunderite doesn't send email notifications when collaborators view a form. Presence avatars, follow view, and realtime status changes are visible in-app only.

Editing Behavior

  1. Question locking
When a user begins answering a question, that question becomes temporarily disabled for everyone else to prevent edit conflicts.

  2. PDF view
Only questions on the webform will be locked from editing. It's not currently possible to lock questions on the PDF view when editing.

  3. Timeout
The disabled state automatically clears after several seconds if the user stops typing.

  4. Group and repeating questions
Group tables and repeating question sets are treated as a single question. If a collaborator is editing any field in the group, the entire group is locked.

  5. Form completion
If an agent or insured marks a form as done or complete, the status updates in realtime for all collaborators.
