What happens to long answers, notes, or repeating group questions?

The intended audience for this article is Agents.

When filling out a form, some answers may not fit in the available space on the PDF. In these cases, Wunderite automatically generates a blank overflow PDF to capture and display the extra content.

When an Overflow PDF Appears

  • Autofill with schedule data – e.g., selecting Autofill on a risk profile (see our knowledgebase article on schedules).

  • Repeating groups – adding more entries after reaching the field limit.

  • Long answers – when an answer exceeds the character limit for the space provided.

  • Notes – adding notes to a question.

We always try to fit as much text as possible into the original PDF field, but every question has a character limit. If your content goes beyond that limit, the extra text is sent to the overflow form.

Adjusting Question Types

In some cases, we can update a question from single-line input to multi-line input (if there’s room on the form). This requires our forms team to version the form with the new question type. Reach out to us if you’d like us to explore this option.
