Cancel or change request for signature

Change signer

If you've already sent a request for signature and you need to change the signer, navigate to the Risk Profile > Signatures page. Select Actions > Edit File. If you're on a small screen and can't see the Edit File option, you might need to scroll the dropdown menu to see all options.

Depending on the status of the signature file, you might see an Edit File warning modal. Select the Edit File button.

You'll have an opportunity to change your form selection. If you don't need to make changes to the forms, select Next. On the Add Signers step, select the new signer you want to add to the file > Add Signer.

Once your new signer is added to the file, selecting any existing fields that need to be updated with the new signer. Use the Who needs to complete this field? input to change the assigned user.

Select Next in the top right to save and continue. On the next screen, if you're ready to send, select Yes, Send Now.

Cancel signature request

To cancel a signature request, you can either edit the packet status to draft or delete the packet entirely.

  1. Update status to Draft
    Go to Actions > Edit File. In the warning modal, select the yellow Edit File button. The file will return to draft mode and will no longer appear in your collaborators’ task lists. You can then close the window or return to the previous page.

  2. Delete the file
    If the file is no longer needed, choose Actions > Delete File to permanently remove it entirely.
